Please remember that NO SCHOOL SUPPLIES are needed thanks to our Harrison County Excess Levy. You are more than welcome to purchase a bookbag or personalized items, but it is not required. If you see anything posted on social media about school supply lists, please disregard!

Please ensure your children are on time, prepared, and have consistent attendance. If your child must be absent due to illness, please ensure all notes (up to five per semester) are turned in no later than 3 days to be excused.

Dismissal time will be pushed back to 2:30 pm for grades K - 5.

Support Simpson Elementary students with the Backpack Program! 🎒 This vital initiative packs weekly backpacks with easy-to-prepare meals and snacks for about 70 children in need. Items include fruit cups, cereal, ready-to-eat meals, and more, ensuring kids have nourishment over long breaks. Join us in making a difference—consider donating items like applesauce, cheese crackers, or canned goods with pull-top lids. Your contribution helps keep our students fed and focused throughout the year!

• Cans with pull-top lids (vegetables, soup, Chef Boyardee, Spaghetti-O's,)

• Cup Of Noodles soup, please no bags

• Instant Oatmeal

Dive into the school year with a splash at Simpson Elementary PTA's Annual Back to School Pool Party! 🎉🏊 Join us on August 10th from 6:30 pm at the Bridgeport City Pool for a fun-filled evening with food, an ice cream bar, music, selfie opportunities, and special guests. Plus, participate in our food drive for Simpson Elementary's Backpack Program by bringing a listed item and get a chance to win a gift basket full of goodies! Don't miss out on this exciting start to the new school year! 🍦🎒

This is a friendly reminder that flowers, cards, and gift will not be accepted at any school in the county for students. Additionally, students cannot hand out birthday invitations at school.
